ESI provides state-of-the-art security to ensure that your data is never compromised. At ESI, we know that security is crucial to you - that's why security is our top priority. We devote significant resources to continually develop our security infrastructure. The result: unsurpassed security and privacy for our customer's information.

SECURITY DETAILS

Configured by experts, our security infrastructure includes proven, up-to-date firewall protection, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies.

Our equipment is located at a facility that provides 24-hour physical security, redundant electrical generators, redundant data center air conditioners, and other backup equipment designed to keep servers continually up and running.

Our robust application security model prevents one ESI customer from accessing another customer's data.

All data entered into the ESI application by a customer is owned by that customer. ESI employees do not have direct access to the ESI production equipment, except where necessary for system management, maintenance, monitoring, and backups.

All networking components are configured in a redundant configuration. All customer data is stored on a primary database server that is clustered with a backup database server for redundancy. All customer data is stored on carrier-class disk storage using RAID disks. All customer data, up to the last committed transaction, is automatically backed up to a (secure, off-site) tape library on a nightly basis.

The ESI Network

The ESI network has been designed to accommodate clients demanding the highest quality network performance. There is a central focus on redundancy allowing our network to rapidly self-heal failures without interruptions to connectivity.

ESI Network Monitoring

ESI Network Monitoring is dedicated to providing service reliability and immediate incident resolution. ESI Network Monitoring utilizes a robust set of health and service monitoring tools to ensure our server's optimal performance through early detection of problems.

ESI Network Monitoring focuses on prevention of, as well as immediate response to, service interruptions. The bulk of service failures are prevented before occurrence (and nearly all remaining service failures are corrected within minutes). ESI Network Monitoring operates as a persistent proactive manager of client service consistency.
