Filing SystemAs professional engineering practitioners and educators, the authors of ESI Programs understand the importance of maintaining rigorous filing systems of engineering calculations for purposes of identity, credit and accountability, patent ramifications, and liability issues. Thus, an inherent feature of ESI Programs is the filing system. Each calculation will be identified by the project name and number (of your choice), a unique identifier (also of your choice), your company, and the individual user's name (as well as the date and time). Calculations can easily be moved into your files and will also be automatically be filed on our secure server for 90 days following your last use of ESI programs (for future reference, recall, or updating). After 90 days of inactivity, ESI will continue to store your calculations for $5.00 per month.Filing on our secure server can be sorted either alpha numerically, chronologically, or reverse chronologically (in each module's "Calculation List"). As stated, at the user's option, the data can be transferred to the files on his own server. |
